Agentforce alternatives for sales teams: 8 options compared

Updated October 21, 2026 · Published October 21, 2026

The best Agentforce alternative for a sales team depends on the job you wanted Agentforce for. For seller assistance, Salesforce in Claude; for manager reviews inside Salesforce, Pipeline Inspection; for call intelligence, Gong; for forecasting, Clari or Aviso; for a nightly, fixed-price pipeline check, TruthPipe. Most lists online cover customer-support agents; this one covers sales.

Prices are list prices or third-party estimates, each with its source, read on 21 October 2026.

1. Salesforce in Claude

The plugin from the Claudeforce partnership brings 37 sales skills into Claude: morning brief, call prep, deal review, post-call updates. It is the closest substitute for Agentforce's seller-facing features, and it keeps the seller in the loop for every write. It is in beta, for the latest Enterprise edition only, without a published price. Details: Salesforce in Claude.

2. Pipeline Inspection and Einstein, already in your edition

From Sales Cloud Core ($195 per user per month), Salesforce lists Pipeline Inspection, advanced forecast and pipeline management, and opportunity scoring. For a manager, this answers "what moved this week" without any agent. It does not rank reps by integrity or list silent deals for you every morning. Setup guide: Salesforce Pipeline Inspection.

3. HubSpot Sales Hub

If the problem is Salesforce itself, HubSpot Sales Hub bundles forecasting from the Professional tier, with AI features through Breeze. Third-party summaries put Professional at about $90 to $100 per seat per month, with a one-time onboarding fee, and Enterprise at about $150. Switching CRM is a project, not a purchase.

4. Gong

Gong records and analyzes calls, then rolls that into deal and forecast views. It is the strongest option when conversations hold the truth about deals. Gong prices per user plus a platform fee and does not publish rates; tl;dv's guide estimates about $1,600 per user per year, a platform fee from $5,000 per year and mandatory onboarding from $7,500. More: Gong pricing.

5. Clari, now part of Salesloft

Clari is a forecasting and revenue platform, merged with Salesloft (closing reported in December 2025). Prices are by module and unpublished; Docket's research estimates $100 to $120 per user per month for core forecasting and $200 to $310 or more for the full stack.

6. Aviso

Aviso focuses on AI forecasting, with win prediction and forecast validation, plus a growing set of task agents. ZoomInfo's 2026 roundup describes it as used by 450 or more revenue teams. Pricing is custom.

7. Build it yourself on Salesforce MCP

Since April 2026, Salesforce hosts MCP servers for Enterprise Edition and above, so any MCP client (Claude, ChatGPT, an internal agent) can read and act on Salesforce data under each user's permissions. It is the most flexible route and the one with the most moving parts: API allocation, agent registration from November 2026, and the AI vendor's bill.

8. TruthPipe

TruthPipe does one job: every night it scores each rep's pipeline integrity, lists zombie deals (open, closing this quarter, no activity for more than 14 days) and computes the Clean Pipe, for managers to read before the forecast call. It costs $99 per month per org for up to 10 reps, with no credits.

What it does not do: it does not record calls, it does not write to Salesforce, and it is not an agent that completes tasks. If you need those, look at options 1, 4 or 7.

Where Agentforce still wins

To be fair to the original: Agentforce is the only option on this list that runs agents inside Salesforce's own platform, permissions and billing, across sales, service and custom use cases. If your roadmap includes customer-facing agents, service automation and sales assistance in one place, the alternatives above each cover a slice, and Agentforce covers the platform. The question is whether you need the platform now, or one job done well.

Combinations that work

Most teams end up with two of these, not one:

Avoid paying twice for the same job: two tools that both record calls, or two that both produce the forecast.

What a first year costs for a 20-rep team

The same team, at list price or at the low end of published estimates, read on 21 October 2026. Each line answers a different job, so the totals are not substitutes for each other; they show the order of magnitude you are signing for.

Questions to ask every vendor

  1. What does the tool need from our CRM data to work? If the answer is "clean data", ask what happens with the data you have today.
  2. Who uses it every day, and who only reads it? Viewer seats are often cheaper or free.
  3. What is billed besides seats? Platform fees, onboarding, credits, bundles.
  4. What happens at renewal? Ask for the price cap or escalator in writing.
  5. What can we measure after 30 days? A number you already track: forecast accuracy, hours saved, deals cleaned up.
  6. Does it write to Salesforce? If yes, under which user, and with what approval step.

How to choose

  1. Name the job. Seller productivity, manager review, call intelligence, forecasting, or pipeline hygiene.
  2. Check your edition. Several options start at Enterprise or Core.
  3. Price a full year for your team size, including platform and onboarding fees where they exist. Our Agentforce pricing estimator covers the Salesforce side.
  4. Pilot on real data. Every tool here reads the same CRM; the cleaner it is, the better all of them look.
